Lemon Thyme

Best used fresh, chop lemon thyme leaves and add at the very end of the cooking process before they lose flavour and colour. Lemon thyme goes well with seafood, adds that lemony taste to your favourite stuffing.

It is also a pretty herb to have in your garden, low growing and shrubby with beautiful white-edged leaves!

Care: Best grown in moist, well drained soil in a sunny position.

Lemon thyme is also a nectar producing plant so is perfect in bee or butterfly gardens! It is especially great in warmer areas as once established, lemon thyme is drought-tolerant.
